We are looking for an Experienced Level Designer for Primal Studios' Game Design Team. Depending on your experience this may be a Senior or a staff role.

Primal Studios is the start-up team behind the award winning Jelly Jellies. In the studio we're looking for the most talented and ambitious yet humble game development professionals on the planet to build and expand Jelly Jellies, so we can help the world become a better place. We started developing the game with the thought in mind to raise awareness on the pollution of the ocean. How do you succeed as a Level Designer at Primal Studios? We believe strongly that content is key, and our level designers are a crucial piece of that content. As a level designer you are responsible for crafting the definitive player touchpoint for our games. You will have control of the entirety of content design, including delivering top-notch levels, conceiving of new gameplay elements, and shaping level difficulty and progression while using data analysis obtained from key performance indexes, to adjust, optimize and perfect your work.

What you'll be responsible for:

• Design and deliver levels and associated content in all its forms across the entire product lifecycle for our social puzzle games.
• Use data and player feedback to continuously hone and maintain existing level content.
• Work with other team members by collaborating on multiple areas of the development process to ensure the game's success and our mission to raise awareness.

It would be great if you have the following experience and attributes:

• You have at least 6 months of experience designing puzzle experiences in the puzzle genre and more specifically in sub genres like match 3, bubble shooter, etc.
• You have a demonstrated track record of doing your job properly.
• You have the passion and drive inside you to create the best content & player experiences you can develop for our products and challenge other products in the same genre.
• You have good level design skills as well as theoretical or practical knowledge of level design and core gameplay. You solve problems analytically, and use data to validate your arguments.
• You are open to learning and personal growth.
• Mechanics, rules, and probabilities in level design are your specialty.
• You have the ability to drive level design through each applicable stage of production: concept, wireframe, prototype, implementation, and refinement through to final sign-off.
• Reviewing games from the players' experience and give constructive feedback to the team to help to refine the best possible content we can provide.
• You are incredibly focused on top-quality and efficient content production.
